ESPN has been on the decline, and there are many reasons for that, including those listed above

Why has ESPN declined over the past few decades, particularly in the 2010s and 2020s. Well, here are some reasons why:

Politics: This is the main reason, I believe, why ESPN has declined over the years. ESPN used to be about sports and just sports. But in the early to mid-2010s, politics began creeping up into the network’s coverage. ESPN focused on a liberal agenda, which chased away some of ESPN’s viewers. Linda Cohn was told to take the day off when she told then-president John Skipper how ESPN’s viewer ratings were declining due to incorporating politics into the network’s…

These expired pizzas were found in a retail store for sale; the one on the right expired back in October 2020 (picture was taken June 22, 2021)

This article was most recently updated September 22, 2021.

Many retail stores, particularly convenience stores, supermarkets, and mass merchandisers, sell food and beverage products. Some sell fresh and packaged food products while others sell only packaged food products. Usually, when a food product goes past its expiration date, the right thing for the store is to get rid of it. However, that is not always the case. Over the past few months I have come across expired food and/or beverage items still on the shelves. This is a safety concern, because expired food can make you sick. Sometimes it is…

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) is a perfect example of what happens when someone doesn’t put their priorities in the right order. Things get out of hand and out of control as a result, and the state of Florida is a perfect example. This isn’t a left vs. right issue, but is a right vs. wrong issue. But DeSantis thinks it is a left vs. right issue and has politicized the virus, masks, vaccines, and vaccine passports to appease his supporters; he has also focused more on conservative talking points than doing his part to curb the virus.

In March…

I’ve recently began a new job lately, and haven’t had as much time to write stories. While working, I’ve discovered some new products, including ones that I am interested in. While at a Speedway gas station location I discovered this pink Mountain Dew that is exclusive to the chain, called Mountain Dew Spark. As a Mountain Dew fan, I have consumed many varieties of the brand and was quite interested in trying it out. So what is it like? I bought one and tried it out.

Mountain Dew Spark is a mix of pink lemonade and raspberry flavors, and it…

Some people rely on delivery services to receive their restaurant food, but I don’t believe it’s the best method of getting food from restaurants.

Some people rely on restaurant delivery services to get their food, including the restaurant’s own delivery drivers or through a third party service like DoorDash, GrubHub, or UberEATS. But I feel this is not the best way to order restaurant food to-go; here’s are the reasons why I don’t use delivery services.

Fees

When ordering food from a delivery service, in many cases a delivery fee is tacked onto your order (sometimes this fee is waived) and usually you pay the delivery driver a tip. So in reality if your household orders $40 worth of food from a restaurant, the…

The picture sums up some of the things that are wrong with America.

2020 has been a different year for many people. From the COVID-19 outbreak to the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and many others, 2020 has had its fair share of events, and there are still more to come. The big event will be November 3, Election Day. Some of the formentioned events are intended to bring positive change, but there are “speed bumps” in the path for positive change. And some of these “speed bumps” date back before 2020.

Here are the “speed bumps” that need to be dealt with:

Saving the USPS is important, because nearly all Americans rely on them in some form or fashion

Recently, it has been made clear that Donald Trump is intentionally trying to keep his sorry rear end in the White House by finding ways to undermine the upcoming election between him and Joe Biden, and the United States Postal Service (USPS) is the unwilling victim in Trump’s abuse of power.

It all started when Trump threatened to take USPS private or require USPS to charge higher shipping costs in an effort to give Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos the finger by saying that Amazon benefits from lower shipping prices, although this claim is false. In reality, a shipping rate hike…

Recently, some people moved into a house for rent down the street. The house is rented out as the owners live in Georgia; it has had at least three different families renting it over the past few years. Unlike the previous families, the family that moved in has caused some issues. Not only are they violating some HOA rules but they are also being inconsiderate to the other people living on our street.

The new neighbors have three cars nose-to-tail in the street (the car opposite them just happened to park there at a bad time and usually doesn’t park in the street) and have made it difficult to get down our street

From what I’m aware there are at least four vehicles in the yard and/or driveway, a Porsche in the garage (that is rarely driven from what I’ve…

This article was last updated August 19.

August has come around, and school districts across the country are starting to reopen. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, some parents are enrolling their children into online classes or hybrid classes (a combination of in-person and online) instead of in-person classes. Depending on the school district classrooms may have protective shields on desks and/or masks are to be required, but not all districts are to require this. So is it safe to send children back to schools for in-person classes? The answer: Not quite yet. …

Have you ever seen a screen like this when trying to open an application? It is annoying, and part of the plan that companies use to make money.

Recently, my dad was trying to open an app on his phone that he uses for work purposes. He had a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone with the latest software. But there was a problem that prevented him from using the app that is important to his job.

As Samsung is currently introducing new phones, the latest software updates are only available on newer phones, as now the Galaxy S7 series is now “obsolete” when it comes to software updates. …
